Luca Gordon works at Joe Graham & Son in their kitchen design department. His mother and sister both work at Headway Luton – a local charity that supports survivors of an acquired brain injury. When he heard from his mother that Headway wanted to raise their income, he lept into action thinking of ideas of what he could do and asked if his boss Joe Graham could get involved. He and staff at Headway Luton decided to get a big group together to walk and run at the Love Luton RunFest on Sunday 11th October 2026. A donation from Joe Graham has covered entrance fees and t-shirts for the event. Luca, his younger brother Sonny and two of their friends will be running the half marathon whereas brain injury survivors, Paul and Stephen, Headway Luton staff, trustees and their families tackling the 5km and 10km.
A brain injury can put life in a spin, but your donations can help give brain injury survivors a fresh start. Sponsor them on their JustGiving page here and give them a wave on the day!: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/headwaylutonrunfest
