Day Centre Service
Our Approach
Trained and qualified staff run our day centres in Luton and Houghton Regis. We have a person-centred approach where we discuss what goals you would like to achieve and make a plan to help get you there. Your progress is reviewed regularly and goals amended if and when necessary.
We have two day centres
- One in Luton open 5 days a week
- One in Houghton Regis open on Wednesdays
What happens at the day centres?
We have a programme of activities run by staff and external tutors. Sometimes we also have shorter term funded projects to bring in new activities e.g. laughter therapy, beatboxing and drama. During the year we also like to go on outings to parks, Whipsnade Zoo and other places of interest. There are also plenty opportunities to talk to staff and peers about problems you may be having. We then work together and help you overcome them.
