On Sunday 13th October 2024, Staff members Annika and Maria with their friends Laura and Sherrese ran the Love Luton Run Fest to raise money for Headway Luton. They have never ran a 10km before and have been training hard since February. Their original target was £1000 but they reached this goal faster than expected, so increased it to £1250, smashing this goal too! As of 22nd October, they have raised £1,639. We have been so moved and overwhelmed by the support from our friends and family but particular from clients of Headway Luton who have been really encouraging and generous. The support and encouragement spurred us on and we all ran the 10km without stopping. It took around 90 minutes. Thank you to everyone and the organisers for a great event!
All money will be used to continue to support survivors of an acquired brain injury.
